Holistic Massage

back

Massage has long been used for its relaxing and therapeutic properties. Whether you want some stress or pain relief, massage can be of great help!

Received regularly, massages can keep stress at bay, therefore keeping your immune system more active and your body healthier. Stress is increasingly acknowledged as being the root of many diseases, including psoriasis, heart diseases, cancers etc.

Swedish massage uses a range of movements such as effleurage, petrissage, tapotement etc. It can be used over the whole body using varying amounts of pressure and is highly relaxing. It can also relieve muscle pain when concentrated over the painful area.

Benefits of massage include:
- Back, neck and shoulder pain
- Stress, anxiety and depression
- Tension headaches and migraines
- RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury)
- Insomnia
- Muscle stiffness

Facial massage

face

Natural lift facial massage is an amazing experience which incorporates techniques from both the Japanese face massage and the Indian face massage, as well as some elements of acupressure and facial reflexology.

The result of this 30 minute blissful treatment is a natural lifting effect that helps you look, and often feel, younger. A lot of the facial lines and wrinkles are due to facial muscles tension (which is why botox is used to supress any facial muscle activity). This special combination of techniques can significantly decrease muscular tension, revealing a younger face.

It is the ideal treatment before an important event, but it can also have lasting effects if performed regularly.

The following effects can be obtained:
- Reduction of muscle tension in the face and jaw
- Increase in blood circulation
- Stimulation of the nervous system
- Improvement of skin suppleness
- Relief from headaches and eye strain
- Improvement of the lymphatic flow, transporting the toxins away from the skin cells
- Strengthening and toning of the facial muscles
- Enhancement of mental and physical relaxation
